We brought a touch of classic Italian cinema to Blackwood with a private screening of Cinema Paradiso at the local cinema. After the emotional journey of the film, guests gathered at The Rock for a delightful buffet. The best part? All proceeds went to Macmillan and Cancer Research UK, making it an evening of art and generosity.

A Midsummer Gala with Mr. Jeff Hooper

Jazz enthusiasts were treated to an unforgettable night during our Midsummer Gala, headlined by the inimitable Mr. Jeff Hooper. Accompanied by the Nigel Hart Sextet Jazz Orchestra, he brought the timeless hits of the Great American Songbook to life. The music, the ambiance, and the energy made it a standout event of the year.

A Magical Choir Performance

The Rock resonated with the harmonious sounds of a talented local male voice choir, captivating everyone with their moving performance. It was a night that truly brought the community together in celebration of music and spirit.

Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration

November saw us embrace the French tradition of Beaujolais Nouveau. Our patrons savoured a meticulously crafted French menu paired with the first wines of the season. It was a night filled with exquisite French flavours and festive cheer.
